I will finish the first draft of my 2nd book, finish writing my articles for the jonestown report, finish packing up my Peoples Temple documents and memorabilia for my donation to University of Southern Indiana Communal Studies Program, and take care of some health issues.

September

7th –  9:30-12:30 SDSU OSHER Orientation (Introduction to Fall OSHER Classes)

13th – Western Connecticut State University, Danbury Connecticut – visit classes

13th – 3 p.m.-5 p.m WCSU Midtown campus, Public Presentation White Hall Bldg, Ives

14th – Brookfield Theater, Art Gallery Exhibit with Beth Houghtaling: Opening of

Jonestown: What Flavor Are You Drinking?

29th – 9-noon Creative Arts Industry Author Expo, Escondido County Services Bldg.

October

6th – 3:30-5 Communal Studies Association Conference Presentation, Bishop Hill, Illinois on

Migration and Movement in Peoples Temple

(Ron will present on Synanon: Migration, Movement, Membership and Attrition

11th – 7-9 Dress Up Book Group Presentation, Escondido,

19th – 11-12:30 SDSU OSHER Class “Jonestown Revisited”

November

18th – 40th Anniversary Ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, CA

19th – 10-12 Open House at California Historical Society, SF, for survivors, authors, friends,

media, etc. to share information and writings about Peoples Temple and Jonestown.
