Jonestown Survivor – March 2017  – Another Busy Month

In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb

by Lorie Hill

March roars in like a lion

So fierce,

The wind so cold,

It seems to pierce.

It is possible that in times past, both the weather and life were predictable. But, my life is anything but that. This month of March is a full month:

  • I got a cd copy of a show I was interviewed for – “Serial Killer Culture” A John Borowski Show, Season 1.

  • I taught an OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute Class for California State University-San Marcos, on “The Evolution of Peoples Temple in the 1960s and 1970s.”

  • I was interviewed via skype for 1 ½ hours for a Swedish documentary about Peoples Temple.

  • I am Moderating a panel and Presenting at University of Phoenix “Creative Industry Expo.”

  • I submitted a Proposal to present a scholarly paper at the Communal Studies Association Conference in October.

Those are my March activities in addition to my activism, my monthly article for the local bilingual paper Alianza North County, teaching, and a multitude of other things.

And, April looks to be just as busy, with trips to Sacramento, University of San Francisco, and University of Southern Indiana, and another California State University-San Marcos OSHER class.
